Myrtle Beach is the most seasonal market on this site by a wide margin, and the seasonality is about the listings rather than the weather. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day the Grand Strand is one of the busiest markets on the east coast. In January many profiles have paused entirely.
The season is the market, and the effect on listings is more dramatic than in any other city here. From late May to early September the oceanfront fills and profiles multiply, many of them seasonal — people who work the Strand in summer and are elsewhere the rest of the year. Outcall to oceanfront hotels dominates, because that is where visitors are. Then, roughly December to February, a large share of listings pause rather than sit idle. That is the town emptying rather than anything wrong with the site, but it means winter choice is genuinely limited.
The shoulder seasons are more substantial here than in most resort towns, and golf is why. With more than eighty courses on the Strand, spring and autumn bring a steady flow of golf groups — overwhelmingly male, three or four nights, arriving Sunday and leaving Wednesday rather than on a weekend pattern. April, May, September and October are quieter than midsummer but far from empty, and the rhythm is noticeably different.
May brings the bike weeks, two large motorcycle rallies in consecutive weeks that put several hundred thousand people into a town that is not big. Availability tightens hard, traffic on Ocean Boulevard becomes theoretical, and anything not arranged well ahead is unlikely to happen.
Incall exists but is uncommon in season, when most listings are working visitor accommodation. Rates are among the lower ones on this site outside the peak weeks, and rise sharply during the rallies and midsummer.

Twenty minutes up the coast, quieter, with more rental houses than high-rise hotels. A calmer market and a slightly different one — more incall, fewer very short bookings.
Toward Pawleys Island, where much of the golf accommodation sits. The shoulder-season market lives down here more than on the boardwalk, on a Sunday-to-Wednesday rhythm rather than a weekend one.
Paying for sexual services is illegal throughout South Carolina and nothing about the state’s position is unusual. The one local note is that a heavily seasonal resort economy attracts a corresponding seasonal wave of fake and recycled listings each summer, which is a reason to lean on verification and posted dates more here than in a steady year-round market. Listings on this site advertise companionship and social time; anything advertising more is removed.
