Eighteen metros, and the listings in them behave nothing alike. Manhattan is almost entirely outcall because nobody can host; Chicago is half incall because space is affordable. Charlotte empties on Friday. Myrtle Beach empties in October. Each page below covers one market properly rather than swapping a city name into the same paragraph.
Most directories treat a city as a dropdown — same page, different name. That is not how these markets work, and the differences are practical rather than decorative. Whether incall is even on the table depends on what housing costs: it is common on Chicago’s North Side and in Brooklyn, and rare in Manhattan and the South Bay. How far ahead you need to arrange something depends on how many listings exist, which is why Albany needs a week and Las Vegas often needs a day. Whether the person you are messaging is local or passing through depends on the touring circuit, which treats Vegas and Orlando as constant stops and barely reaches Biloxi.

Yes. Nothing is locked by location. People planning travel routinely read the destination city page first, which is part of why the busiest metros here are convention and tourism towns.
Some do. People who travel for work post their touring dates, and those listings show in each city for the relevant window. The dates are on the profile, and a touring listing without them is worth a question before anything else.
Chicago, Dallas and Las Vegas carry the most. Biloxi, Honolulu and Albany carry the fewest, which in practice means allowing several days rather than several hours to arrange anything.
